Hill 55 is a location in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam, located approximately 12 miles southwest of Da Nang. It was a strategic hilltop position during the Vietnam War, as it allowed for control of access to important roads and provided a commanding view of the surrounding area. The hill saw heavy fighting during the war, including during the Battle of Hill 55 in 1966. Today, the location is still recognized as a significant site of the war, and is visited by tourists and veterans.
